Asus zenfone max pro M2 camera review

Hi my name is bhrat sharma and today I am going to review the camera of the phone Asus zenfone max pro M2.It is a mid range smart phone,so let’s first talk about its specifications

  • It has 6.26inch full HD+ IPS in cell, 2.5D Gorilla glass, notch panel display
  • It comes with 1.95 ghz octacore processor
  • It is working on Snapdragon 660
  • Internal storage of 32GB and RAM 3GB and expandable upto 2TB
  • It has 5000Mah battery

I has 12+5MP of back camera and 13 Mp of front camera

So this was all about its specifications, now let’s talk about its camera specifations

So it comes with 12+5MP dual rear camera and 13MP primary camera. Primary camera contains f/1.8,1. 25um, 6P lens+5MP dedicated depth sensor, Led flash and also has Electric image stabilisation. Secondary camera contains f/2.0, 1.12um, 5p lens, electric image stabilisation and also has Potrait mode

Now lets get detailed study of the different types of captures

In day light capture Asus zenfone max pro M2 produces sharp images with good details, the clearity of the images is also very good but the colour reproduction is not very good the colours looks very dull and even look faded, but if they can improve this problem with the future update then it will be very good.Dynamic range is also preety average in max pro M2

Now talking about the closeup images taken by Asus zenfone max pro M2, here also the images were detailed and we can see sharp picture taken by it. Close up shots also has better reproduction. So overall this phone really did a decent job in close up images

Low light images(Back camera)

With the artificial light it performs preety average in low light conditions and images are also sharp with the help of f/1.8. But the bad part of the back camera in low light condition is that there is so much in noise creeping in in the picture and when light drops further noisy level also increases

Potrait mode(back camera)

The Potrait images taken by zenfone max pro M2 did very decent job. The Potraits are bright and often give good details. But in some cases where there is complex background it may blur your focus image

Front camera

The 13 Mp f/2.0 camera of zenfone max pro M2 takes good selfies. Skin tones are quite good and the details are very good. There is adequate details in the dark conditions with the artificial light but there is bit of noise in it. It does not have Potrait mode now but it is coming in the update

So we this was all about its camera portion

My review about the camera (good or bad)

So this is a mid range smart phone and the 3GB variant is of 12999Rs in India, so it is a mid range smartphone and according to its price it really did a very decent job the back camera which is of 12+5Mp did a really god job in day light conditions but in low light condition it was not that good but its all right but the vedios taken by this phone was really amazing as it has electronic image stabilisation which makes your vedio very steady and I really like its vedios specially in day light conditions. Front camera also performs very good the colour sharpness and brightness were really amazing and satisfying its price but there is not Potrait mode avialabe till now but it will be given in the next update so it is not really a big issue. So I think that it really satisfy its price range but if you want a phone only for the camera then you can search other phone which can give you good camera quality then this phone but if u want a powerful phone with good camera then this one is for you and if u love to take shots in low light conditions then again this is not for you

So this was all about my review hope you like it and if you have any questions regarding it you can comment down below
